My name is Pamela; I am a re-entry student, currently pursuing my AA degree as a Medical Office Professional. For my Insurance Billing course, I am required to establish and maintain this website. The site will includes posts, links, and pages with information that I have found helpful on my journey. My hope is that they may help you, too. Most of my posts will contain links to websites which provide more comprehensive information regarding the post’s topic. You may also visit my Links page to access any of the resources that I have used to establish this site. My Definitions Page was not a requirement of this course, but is an introductory (in progress) compilation of some common terms used in the industry. I will continue to expand it as I go. One other resource which took significant time to complete was the Insurance Comparison Chart, which provides block-specific guidelines for completing the CMS-1500 for different third-party payers.
